Eggs . . . . duck, chicken, goose, Cadburys Cream, Easter . . . .
I buy mine from Bettys Farm, (Willington, Derbys)
30 at a time, all mismatched sizes that don’t fall into a “supermarket” category and,
so Betty sells them as unloved . . . .
. . . but I love them all, especially at a full tray of 30 eggs for just £3.30
. . . and yes they are all in one basket (or tray) so if I drop that lot then they are all ruined.
The thing with a scenario like that is that you just MAKE SURE THAT you don’t drop em don’t you.
Just be super extra careful. Crikey though at 13p each, its got to be worth the risk,
what a bargain, and what lovely eggs too. . .
. . some are so big, they don’t even fit into an egg box, and some of the small ones are just perfect for an egg sandwich, without it squidging out of the edges!
