Last Friday, for the first time in a while, I managed to get to the business connect breakfast networking meeting at Lichfield Rugby Club.
(Thank you to hubby for getting a lie in, taking the boys to school, and going into work late)
The whole ethos of the two guys who set up the group is openness and friendliness. No elitist cliques allowed here.
Not that I have been to all that many networking groups, but this is by far the most welcoming I have experienced . . .
Firsty I would like to say “Happy Birthday”(for yesterday) to my colleague, webmaster (and cousin) Dennis at DBN web design.
Secondly I am going to congratulate him on another excellent coding execution, of a Wild Ideas website design.
The latest collaboration website project to go live must be the most dramatic transformation we have done so far.
This client already had a website, but ( I hope she won’t mind me being brutally honest), it was quite terrible.
Proper DIY, totally unprofessional, and the images were completely random – they made no sense whatsoever to the business the site was trying to promote. . . .
Wow, I just had a really great holiday
I was panicking beforehand that I had too much work to do, but I informed all my current clients, got stressed and organised all at the same time and then off we went. . . .
. . . on Good Friday we sailed away with P&O ferries, for one of the most relaxing breaks I have had (yes really).
My sister recently relocated to Germany . . . . “Oh, thats quite a way then” – I hear you say
well actually, considering that prior to that she had lived in South Korea for five years then this new location meant that is was now feasible and affordable to visit her.
